Chebeague & Cumberland Land Trust and the Chebeague Island Library welcome local author and teacher Andrew Fersch and artist Bruce Hutchison, who will read from their new book, The Piping Plover.

The book tells the story of a young girl who notices these endangered birds on her local beach and works to educate her community about them. A book signing, art activity for kiddos, and refreshments will follow the reading.
